Big Class Boston!

So I recently illustrated a book cover for a project called Big Class Boston where middle school students from Brookline wrote their own stories and where able to collaborate with artists from all around the city to illustrate them. I was really happy to be able to be apart of it.  I was able to go to the book release earlier today and listen to the students reading their stories and to see the whole book come together beautifully. Congrats to Alaina Gurdak for doing such a great job organizing this project and to all the students and illustrators involved!!

More to come!

oh hey.

Hey been a while since I last posted, here are a series of portraits ive been doing as studies for my thesis. Themes being  ROT AND DECAY as well as the living dead as a representation for social isolation. Beyond that I really just enjoy drawing extremely aged skin and rot and going crazy with detail. Sorry for the cropping, they were too big to be fully scanned. All are done in charcoal and the last one is colored ink.
